As we turn our calendars to 2021 things seem to be opening up more and more and our hope is going up too. We have missed many things during 2020 due to COVID, especially weekend family dinners at restaurants we love. So we created a bucket list of the first five fun things we want to do in Miami North East and Miami Beach in 2021, and restaurants we will go back to visit very soon.

Check out our 2021 family bucket list of the first five family-friendly, post-pandemic fun things we want to do in Miami North East and Miami Beach. You might find you share some ideas with us.

1 - Spending the day at South Point Park and then heading over to "Call Me Gaby":

We usually take a picnic bag with us full of snacks and spend the entire day at South Pointe Park. The kids play at the toddlers' playground, enjoy the motion-activated mini splash zone, with water cannons, and then play some soccer, while we, adults, relax under the big palm trees.

Later in the afternoon, we walk to the South Pointe Pier and take some amazing pictures. When the sun goes down, we head to "Call Me Gaby" for delicious Italian pizzas and some good wine. It always turns into a perfect friend and family day!

2 - Enjoying a waterpark and then going back to visit our old friends at "Sylvano":

Every summer since the kids arrived in our life we have enjoyed waterparks. We usually visit Miami Shores Aquatic Center and also like the waterpark at Flamingo Park in South Beach.

After a day in a waterpark, a great option for us is a good plate of Italian pasta. Before we had kids, my husband and I used to dine at Sylvano Restaurante, perhaps every other weekend, we were always welcomed as family. So we love taking our kids to what we call "our second home".

3 - Visiting the Miami Theater Center and then enjoying a tasteful Argentine parrillada at "Fiorito":

My kids love to go to the theater and every time we drive-by MTC they beg me to go back to watch one of their amazing performances. They especially remember the magic show by The Amazing Max, we all enjoyed it so much and learned a trick or two. And Inez Barlatier's show was so special, they still remember some of her songs.

As a half Argentine family, we are meat lovers, so parrilla is one of our favorite meals. For a nearby option, we never go wrong when choosing Fiorito for a good parrillada (a meal of a variety of meats that are grilled or barbecued).

4 - Heading to the beach and getting an early dinner at "Cafe Prima Pasta":

The beach is our number one weekend family fun option. When we head to North Miami Beach we like to end the day with an early dinner at Cafe Prima Pasta where we are always delighted by daddy's picture by the corridor and of course by their home-style Italian cuisine.

5 - Visiting Ninja Lounge and ice cream are a great combo:

What kid doesn't like to jump, jump, and jump! We are frequent visitors of Ninja Lounge at Dezerland Park, my kids love it and seem to never get tired of it or even after hours of continue jumping on the trampolines. The mini ninja foam course is a perfect place to practice balance too. Then we head to the indoor cafe for ice cream before leaving. Dezerland Park offers many more attractions for the entire family, within the same facility.

Feel free to share in the comments below what you and your family have on your bucket list of family fun things to do in Miami North East and Miami Beach for the coming year. I will share more bucket lists soon, hope you enjoyed this one!
