Cinco de Mayo Celebration Ideas With The Kids

By Francesca Walker May 3, 2018

Cinco de Mayo is coming and with it margaritas on the beach, live music and dancing all day and night!…Or maybe not…when your kids are demanding early risers who start to put their fingers in your ears, nose and mouth at 7am every day, weekend included.

But this doesn't mean you should stop celebrating this holiday. On the contrary, including the kids in the fun gives you a chance to teach them the value of traditions, to introduce them to new Mexican recipes, and to encourage them to celebrate the victories in their lives.

We've rounded up some local events and Mexican-inspired activities that don't involve wild partying but are still entertaining and suitable for people of all ages.
