14 Earth Day and Clean Up Events to Celebrate Mother Nature

By Francesca Walker April 19, 2018

Earth Day 2018 takes place this upcoming Sunday, April 22nd. It is such an awesome time to introduce kids to how to protect Mother Earth and its resources, and to teach them to how to connect with our environment and community.

In our area there are plenty of ways for families to observe the occasion, have a blast and at the same time take a hands-on approach to helping our planet. We have created a list of local Earth Day events, including volunteer opportunities, parks, beaches, river’s clean ups and more to celebrate nature.

Let’s show our love for our planet!
