Declutter for a Good Cause: 10 Charities Accepting Donations

By Francesca Walker January 11, 2018

A brand new year is upon us and one of the most popular New Year’s Resolution (or shall we call it Challenge?) is to live in a clutter-free home. To keep up with our goal many of us spent part of the holidays cleaning out the closets, drawers, cabinets, etc. After walking around the house and collecting items our family no longer need, we now have bags of clothes, pieces of furniture and other reusable items that we don’t use, wear or love anymore.

Donating those pieces we've grown tired of is an act of kindness that can free up our space and help someone else with their new beginning. Here is a roundup of 10 terrific places and causes in our area where we can donate just about anything.
